Iconic film: Titanic (1997)

¡Feliz martes chicas!

What can be said about a film like Titanic (1997) that has won everything (89 awards prizes, among which 11 Oscar and 4 Golden Globes), that was a hit and that has got everything (love, adventure, drama, mystery, an amazing wardrobe, unforgettable music…)?

In this occasion (and without setting a precedent) I believe that the best is to enjoy again with the best images of the film and leave our imagination fly back again to the Titanic ... even if it is just for an instant!

And for those of you who haven’t watched it in the cinema, now you have the chance to do it in 3D. Believe me, the experience you’ll live is absolutely worth it!!

Happy Tuesday ladies!!

 THE COSTUMES

"This was an era of great formality," Costume Designer Deborah L. Scott says. "People of wealth changed their wardrobe four and five times a day. Their clothes were so elaborate that personal maids and valets were absolutely necessary. The clothes were incredibly beautiful and detailed."

The realism of Titanic extends beyond the steel, rivets, hardware and other physical elements. The filmmakers also took the same painstaking efforts to ensure its population of actors' dress and mannerisms were just as true to the period as their environment.
