Por muy de moda que están las chaquetas “desestructuradas”, “fluidas”, “cocoon”, “oversize” (llamarlas como queráis), en mi opinión no hay nada que pueda superar una chaqueta de corte clásico y con hombreras. NADA. (Bueno vale… ¡¡quizás un par de Louboutins!!)
Yo no sé vosotras, pero yo me pongo una chaqueta de este estilo y automáticamente me siento favorecida, poderosa y femenina. ¡Hasta parece que camine más erguida…! Jajajajaja
No en vano en los años 80 fueron las protagonistas absolutas del vestuario de la mujer trabajadora (acordaros de Melanie Griffith en la película de 1988 Armas de Mujer); eso sí con unas hombreras exageradísimas, símbolo del poder e independencia femenina de aquella época.
Así pues aunque se tilde por muchas fashionistas de una pieza “clásica” o “aburrida”, en mi opinión es una prenda que TODA MUJER debería tener en su fondo de armario.

Jackets can be fluid, oversize, cocoon,
destructured (or whatever name you call them). But in my opinion nothing beats a
classic
cut and padded jacket. NOTHING (Well, ok… maybe a pair of Loubutins!)
I don’t know if you feel the same, but
when I wear a jacket of this style I instantly feel flattered,
powerful and feminine. I‘ve got even the impression that I walk more straight!!!
Hahahahaha
No wonder during the 80s they
were the real stars of the working woman closet (think Melanie Griffith in 1988 film Working Girl), with exaggerated padded
shoulders, status of the feminine power and independence of that era.
Therefore even if many fashionistas say it’s classic or even boring, in
my opinion EVERY WOMAN should own one.
